Consult is the room people ask for most and the one we are holding back the longest. Here is the honest reason, rather than a "coming soon."
Why it's held
- Find-people-nearby is the feature that killed the last product that tried it. Anonymous proximity plus a young network is how a platform turns into a harassment surface in under a year.
- Matching is inference. Any engine that suggests who you should meet has to guess what you care about — and on a network with a Recovery Room, those guesses are health inferences. Deriving health interests about you is precisely what we have committed never to do.
What it would have to look like to ship
Built only on facts you state outright — your unit, your shift, your city — with no inferred affinity anywhere in the path, and no suggestion engine behind it. If we cannot build it that way, it does not open.
The other four rooms carry the promise in the meantime: Off Duty, Moonlighting, Recovery Room and Huddle all open scoped to the place you already work.
